Dr. Alberto Carli specializes in minimally invasive joint replacement involving the hip and the knee. He treats patients suffering from osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, post-traumatic arthritis, avascular necrosis, hip dysplasia, hip fracture, and bowlegged or knock-knee deformity. Dr. Carli also assesses previous joint replacement surgeries that have been complicated by fractures, dislocations or infections. Dr. Carli employs rapid-recovery protocols to help patients mobilize on the same day as surgery. He is experienced in performing outpatient (same-day discharge) surgery on eligible patients, customizing treatments for each patient. His priority is to ensure that patients understand their diagnosis, feel empowered in making the decision to proceed with surgery, and feel satisfied with their recovery.
